Ruby TumberBoard Treasurer

Ruby gets pretty excited about all things conservation. She has manifested this passion in both the private and public sectors throughout the Bay Area, working on such things as environmental clearance, transportation policy, and energy efficiency projects. She currently works for the East Bay Regional Park District, where she has the pleasure of blending her love of the environment with her understanding of natural resource management. She is coming to WEN in the hopes of cultivating increased interest in environmental decision making with other women and communities of color. She earned her BS in Conservation and Resource Studies at the University of California at Berkeley, and a Masters in Public Administration at San Francisco State University. When she’s not working, she’s either out exploring outdoor spaces in Northern California or scoping out a new eatery in the East Bay.
