Rachel works as an Outreach Specialist at Convey, Inc., a communications firm specializing in marketing and outreach for Bay Area transit and transportation projects. She has primarily worked at environmental non-profits, where she developed a broad set of skills in organizational development, administration, science writing, education, and of course, public engagement. In her current role, she is pleased to be honing her expertise in strategic communications and meaningful public outreach while working closely with government agencies. Rachel developed a passion for mentoring while working at a nature-based, youth-serving nonprofit and is excited about supporting female-identifying and non-binary professionals in the environmental space. Outside of work, you can find her nerding out about nature, crafting with recycled materials, or reading at a brewery.
