With 10+ years communicating restoration principles, Erica is passionate about the power of environmental data, the carbon sequestration of wetlands, and the connections made through science education. In her role as a biological monitor she uses collaboration, regulations, and enforcement to solve problems and protect listed species from the impacts of construction.
As a relationship builder, she loves making large projects happen through partnership. As co-chair of the WEN Partnerships Committee, Erica is excited to work with local organizations to increase opportunities and training for tomorrow’s environmental leaders.
In addition to working on behalf of WEN, Erica volunteers her time to San Francisco Unified School District’s Energy, Environment, and Utilities Pathway and to her local state parks. You can find Erica outdoors – gardening, biking, or hiking in the Trinities.
