Join the Women’s Environmental Network (WEN) for a special hands-on workshop with Betsy Rosenberg!

Betsy Rosenberg is an award-winning national broadcast journalist, environmental media expert and eco-pioneer. With 20 years of radio news experience as a popular talk show host, Betsy has earned distinction as a world class, green media visionary. Not only has Betsy dedicated her career to being a communications conduit between eco-innovators and the general public, she is also a master storyteller skilled at sharing anecdotes that engage the hearts and minds of audiences.

During this exclusive evening, you will:

  • Learn how to capture the news media’s attention,
  • Discover narrative strategies that help you to connect to your target audience,
  • Receive feedback, and
  • Work closely with Betsy to fine tune your pitch and create catchy sound-bytes that capture the essence of your message.

Transportation/Parking Options

The closest BART station is the Downtown Berkeley Station. It is a short (less than 5 minute) walk to the Earth Island Institute. Street parking is limited in this area of Berkeley. The Oxford Garage is an underground parking facility located at 2165 Kittredge Street (West of Oxford Street) beneath the Oxford Plaza/David Brower Center complex. The Garage is open from 7:00 a.m. to midnight and parking costs $5 after 5 pm.

Thank you for supporting WEN. Unfortunately, WEN runs a lean nonprofit and cannot accept refund requests. In the event that WEN has to cancel a program you will receive a full refund. Thank you for your understanding.
